Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater by MyDyingRose Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater by MyDyingRose
Peter Peter pumpkin eater,
Had a wife and couldn't keep her.

He put her in a pumpkin shell,
And there he kept her very well.

****

There are many things that cross my mind at the thought of this little nursery rhyme. None of them are very wholesome... but then again the rhyme itself is pretty questionable. It's not my best work, and i know there's more to be done with it. But for now, i'm finished.

Thanks for looking =)

Peter Peter pumpkin eater,
Had a wife and couldn't keep her.

My friend had the same idea, but she had Peter cut his wife to pieces to fit her into the pumpkin. ^^; I think she cleared it out of her gallery, for I cannot find it. :(

Very Nice Visualization.

Actually the Mother Goose rhymes we grew up with, and the Grim's Fairytales, were really various news reports of ghastly things done in various places. Peter, Peter was the story of a man who dismembered his wife and buried her in a pumpkin patch; Rng around the rosie was a story about the black death. (it was thought that keeping flowers in one's pocket woule ward off the illness, and they burned the deas, and their homes)
